With 26k to go Binance drag a group of 15 pros clear of the pack as they reach the top of the initial climb. All the favorites accounted for. The only pros to miss it are Binance’s own Paulinho and Ferreira.
10k to go. Paulinho was able to bridge up to bring the group to 16. Only the finishing climb left, this group will decide the race.
3.5k to go, Ivo Oliveira decides to see if he can take the favorites by surprise.
He can’t, 2.3k to go Silva shuts him down. Silvestre is the only rider dropped.
1.4k, Borges attacked following Silva’s work but he has just 8 seconds. Rui Oliveira and Jose Goncalves closest to him.
700 meters to go Borges is caught. The other riders near the front are Gaspar Goncalves and Fernandes.
400 meters. Borges is done, Rui Oliveira fading, Zalgiris look strong with Fernandes at the front and Reis coming off his wheel. The latter not known for his blazing acceleration though. Figueiredo is the next rider on the road.
Reis loses momentum and Rodrigues bursts through the gap between the two Zalgiris riders. His teammates, Paulinho and Antunes follow Rodrigues.
Rodrigues pulls away for an easy win, Binance controlled the race and were patient at the end.
Paulinho 2nd but Fernandes prevents a Binance podium sweep.

Ivo Oliveira is a solid favorite and the defending champion.
Barbio is the first decent TT rider on the startlist. He takes the hot seat, 3 minutes ahead of Rui Oliveira
But he doesn’t last long in first as Reis beats him by 37 seconds.
The other Zalgiris rider, Fernandes is the next big name on the course. But he only manages 4th, 44 seconds down on his teammate. He is also behind Rodrigues who slotted into second, 34 seconds behind Reis.
That leaves only Ivo Oliveira on the course and he is not far behind Fernandes.
Ivo Oliveira repeats as Portuguese Time Trial Champion. He wins by 1’02 ahead of Reis and 1'37 ahead of Rodrigues.
