The Polish National Champion will be determined on a flat course this year. Stepniak, Aniolkowski, and Banaszek seem like the main competitors. Although the latter two have only amateurs in their support squad. Malecki is the defending champion, maybe he has the skillset to pull off a long-range attack.

Time Trial
Rekita is the defending champion, he is also the favorite this year. His teammate, Marchewka, and Sajnok seem the biggest threats to dethrone him. The latter tops the favorites list.
With two Jura riders among the favorites, Marchewka goes relatively early. He takes the hot seat by 4’58 over Kwiatkowski, he passed the other two riders who started ahead of him on the course.
His time isn’t threatened until Sajnok passes the 2nd check 16 seconds ahead. But there is a huge turnaround in the last segment and the Lierse man drops 2’43 in the last segment and ends up 2’27 behind Marchewka at the finish (which is still good enough for 2nd on the day).
There are some strong winds and it is a head wind in the last segment now. Rekita is the only competitive rider left on the course; he was 31 seconds up on his teammate at the 2nd check.
And the wind stiffs Rekita as well, he lose 2’30 in the last third, only good enough for 2nd, and his very surprised, teammate, Marchewka, is the Polish National Time Trial Champion
