Gerts and Teunissen are the clear favorites here. But we've seen late attacks get the better of the peloton before. Lets go to the lowlands and see who can beat the pack!
Some amateur riders try, but fail at forming the break of the day. No real movement, untill just before the second cobble sector where a group of favorites is able to punch a hole. Los Pollos are chasing hard from the peloton.
Our favorite chickens are chasing too hard, and instead of catching the favorites, they shatter the peloton in several chasing groups.
The third sector leaves the lesser cobble knights behind, first chasers are over a minute behind.
We're inside the last 10 KM, and Ariesen attacks. Everyone grabs a wheel and forms a line. Who can deliver the decisive attack? OR will this turn out into a sprint.
We are done with the coubles, and Teunissen attacks! Gerts is the only one to follow, but the chasers are not that far off? Gerts is the better sprinter out of the two, or will it be a bunch sprint?
2KM to go and they make the catch! Gerts wastes no time and attacks again, surely he can't pull it off.
He does it! He even has time te celebrate, Gerts is the new Dutch champion!
Van Baarle just about edges Jakobsen for silver. What an exciting finish. 100M more and the sprinters would have caught him!

Time Trial
Lets see we can do it against the clock.
Power to the name! There is only one Keizer, and he is the fastest of them all with a time of 1h03'13, over half a minute ahead Lammertink in second.
