It looks a bit overcast as we start proceedings here. Does that deter the riders from attacking? Absolutely not! Let's go!
140km remaining and we have our break of the day. It's a busy one with 18 riders off the front. Their gap at this stage is 2'43 but this is still growing.

106km still to go and the rain is coming down! The gap between the breakaway and the Peloton has slowly come down to 2'17. Off the front of the Peloton we've got an interesting attempt from the trio of Lecourt De Billot, De Buyst and Siric.
This trio are joined by a 2nd trio of Naud, Stavrakakis and Ovsyannikov. The gap of these 6 riders is 56 seconds to the Peloton while they trail the early breakaway by 1'26.
An additional 2 riders join to make it a group of 8 mid-strength cobblers. The last 2 are Rutsch and Walsleben. This group is 48 seconds behind the early 18 man breakaway and 1'42 ahead of the Peloton. 92km to the finish.
75km to go and another trio of riders get out on the attack which is made up of Young, Teggart and Lindeman. They are 38 seconds ahead of the Peloton and 1'12 behind the leading group which is made-up of 26 riders.
35km remaining and the gap between the front of the Peloton and those in the breakaway is less than a minute as riders from this group attack one another.
15km to the finish and the group has been swept up apart from Pedersen and Mraouni who are 32 seconds clear. Swift has kicked off the next round of attacks, he is followed by:
Ferreira
Summerhill
Naud
Zhupa
Gamper
Karatzios
Zepuntke
Gaday
Neilands
12km, this group is attacked by Summerhill who is off in pursuit of the remaining 2 escapees.
Pedersen has 7.5km remaining. He is 44 seconds ahead of the leaders group where Karatzios is setting the pace.
Only 3km to go now and Pedersen maintains a 22 second lead. The 6 chasers are:
Summerhill
Gaday
Neilands
Zepuntke
Karatzios
Gamper
600m to go and it's heartbreak for Pedersen who's been caught by Neilands, Summerhill and Zepuntke.
400m and it's between these 3 for the win!!
Danny Summerhill wins the Rheden GP!
Krists Neilands takes 2nd by centimetres ahead of Ruben Zepuntke.
Debesay comes from nowhere to take 4th ahead of Gamper in 5th.
Karatzios is rewarded somewhat for his efforts in the chase as he takes 6th.
Kasperkiewicz appears from seemingly nowhere for 7th.
Gaday takes 8th, Pedersen still holds onto 9th while
Boros rounds out the Top 10.
Celebration time for Danny Summerhill who is our winner here in the Netherlands in what was a fascinating and exciting race all the way until the end.
