This MOD package aims to bring more challenge and optimize the database for long career plays. It won't add teams and add only few races so that season is rather quick to perform. It is done like an unofficial patch to enhance the game.
Here are the most noticeable changes in career mode:
- New game difficulty levels for 3D race mode (in game options), up to +15% IA bonus. Note: The local.cdb file is for Western european version only. Keep your local.cdb if you use unsupported language.
- Current sponsors will last until 2122 (except for player team).
- Reduced free riders list at career start.
- Real names and jerseys, addition of photos.
- "Cya Top Tour" and other false names replaced with right ones.
- Balancing of teams so that even lowest continental teams have some gear.
- 300 stages files (CDX and some ZCES stages), with added PRL/TT stages that are too rare in the base game.
- Tour de France 2023 & 2024 variants.
- 40 kits for custom teams.
- Added some national championships (Road and/or iTT).
- Added 4 new races for continental teams: Topicale Amissa Bongo (GAB), Vuelta al Ecuador (ECU), GP Urubici de Ciclismo (BRA), Tour de Korea (KOR).
- Revisited UCI and superprestige points tables for more coherence (every upper rank is valuable), less points for NC.
- Rankings before 2022 have been removed from game (No mix between IRL results and in game results).
- Set helicopter noise volume to 0.
- Reworked graphics (in-game icons, race logos, race adverts, background).
- Reduced race popularity for all races to reduce generation of (good) riders.
- Various game corrections.
[Installation]
1) Copy "Spack22_SteamFolder" file into your STEAM game directory and run it for installation (select "Extract" on the menu, confirm overwrite existing files with "Yes to All" ).
By default, this should be "C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Pro Cycling Manager 2022"
2) Copy "Spack22_AppDataFolder.exe" file into your APPDATA game directory and run it for installation (select "Extract" on the menu).
By default, this should be "C:\User\*YourLogin*\AppData\Roaming\Pro Cycling Manager 2022"
Launch game and select Spack22 in game menu.
[Uninstallation]
Remove Spack22 folder into AppData folder.
Check game files integrity with Steam, it will restore original game files.
