We ride with Mottin as the first rider in focus for today. He sets the time to beat at 11'20".
Wolf passed the first intermediate 7 seconds down, but makes up the deficit and more to set a new best time of 28'22".
Salas is one of the top favourites today. He lives up to his billing, considerably improving the best time to 28'2".
Valgren Andersen can't quite keep up and loses 26 seconds at the finish.
Coppel does not have a good day and is a further 2 seconds slower.
Paulinho loses 3'20". Eiking is slightly better off at 3'4".
Mohammad loses 27 seconds.
Gesbert ties Eiking's time. Boswell is better off, losing 1'55" at the line.
Bystrom loses 4'20". Boasson Hagen is much better off at 1'48". Gaudu loses 2'8". Meyer is slightly worse off at 2'19".
Brown is 10 seconds down at the first time check. He ends up losing 34 seconds.
Beltran loses 2'53" today.
Dunbar sets a new best time at the first checkpoint and also at the finish - 27'54".
This is immediately bettered by Paillot with a time of 27'43".
Kamna can't keep up with today's pace. He loses nearly a minute.
Belevics has a good first sector, just 9 seconds off the pace. He slows down a bit in the second half to be 23 seconds down on the best time.
Dennis is a bit further off at 33 seconds.
Rui Oliveira loses 1'41".
Hodeg is the last finisher. He loses 2'24" and his leader's jersey.
