The time trialers will today face 3 laps around the Champs Elysses - who will triumph to become gnew world champion?

Edvald Boasson Hagen was the first to ride, but his time was beaten by the 2nd man across the line, Ian Stannard

Stannard's lead would only last until Aleksandr Pluchkin finished. The Moldovan took the lead by 1'17.

The next major name across the line will by Maxime Bouet. One of the home favourites, he powers across the line and into the lead! Gaining 24 seconds on Pluchkin

Javier Aramendia goes 3rd, while with the best performance today by an unsigned rider, Daan Rijntjes of the Netherlands goes 4th

Rigoberto Uran finishes 1'33 behind Bouet, but that gives him 3rd

Now its time for Pierre Rolland! He beat Bouet on this very course early this season in the French championships, and his time then was 12 seconds fasyer than Bouet's time today. But he was well off that pace, only managing 3rd - a huge 1'12 down.

That leaves only one rider who can challenge Bouet - Thomas de Gendt of Belgium. But he is 50 seconds behind, taking 3rd
