It's the final road stage here in the Netherlands with tomorrow's stage being another Individual Time Trial. It's the final opportunity for the sprinters.
We've seen different riders have success so far in the earlier 2 sprinters stages, will we see another new stage winner today?
Still a long way to go in today's stage but it appears we have our break of the day. The following 5 riders have a 2'13 gap already: Alexander, Kochetkov, Kmieliauskas, Kaislavuo, Horvat.
It's a very easy win for Kochetkov through the first of 4 intermediate sprints. Kaislavuo and Alexander pick up the other points. 4'15 gap with 140km to go.
Kochetkov makes it 2 from 2 with Horvat 2nd and Kmieliauskas 3rd. Gap down to 3'09 with still 95km remaining.
The breakaway still working together with 50km to go and the gap is 2 minutes.
Kochetkov easily takes the 3rd intermediate sprint too. Kaislavuo is 2nd with Horvat 3rd. The gap is 1'21 with only 30km to go.
The Peloton go through the finish line where they'll be again in 17km. The gap for the breakaway remains at 49 seconds.
12.5km remaining and the gap is 41 seconds as Kochetkov makes it a clean 4 from 4.
Only 7m remaining and the gap is still 46 seconds for our leading group of 5 who seem to be benefitting from the winding roads here.
The 5 riders remain a few hundred metres ahead with just over 2km to the finish. It's a very disorganised sprint with only BNZ organising what could be referred to as a "train".
It's not looking good for anyone left here in this group which is the majority of the sprinters.
Horvat and Kochetkov are in the lead with 1.6km to go. Behind them Rajovic still has 2 riders in front of him. The only other sprinters here are Bertilsson, Wippert and Losch.
Rajovic has to go early with still 1.3km to go. Kochetkov only has 900m remaining and holds onto hope of a stage win!
It's not looking good for Rajovic or the other sprinters who are struggling to catch!
It is looking very good for Kochetkov who holds a gap to Alexander and Kaislavuo.
4 intermediate sprints capped off by a tremendous stage win for Mikhail Kochetkov!
Kailsavuo finishes fast for 2nd with Alexander 3rd. Horvat is 4th with Kmieliauskas 5th.
Losch is the best of the lead sprinters in 6th with Wippert 7th, Bertilsson 8th and Rajovic 9th.
BNZ riders take 10th and 11th with Boudat leading the rest of the riders across the line 1'02 after the stage winner.
Marchewka remains in the GC lead. Altanzul and Kochetkov benefit from finishing in front of the Peloton as they move up to 10th and 11th.
Kochetkov moves into the Points lead to add to his stage success!
Iversen stays in the lead in the U25s.
BNZ move into the lead in the Teams.
