Hi my game crashed when I advanced day causing my PC to reboot, when I now load up the game the main menu comes up but locks on black screen with a red arrow on screen with music playing after I click play.
Any ideas out there how I can correct this problem? |

Your save game is the problem. Delete it and your game will work perfect

Instead of deleting it, try to move it to your desktop. It's located in My Documents/Pro Cycling Manager/Database/Solo/<Name Of Your DB>/
If there's any other save games which you don't use, just delete them.
If it still doesn't work:
Q. How do I uninstall the game completely?
A. First, go to Start -> Programs -> Cyanide -> Pro Cycling Manager 2008 and find the uninstall-link. Next, go to "My Computer", your hard drive, "Program Files" -> Cyanide and delete the Pro Cycling Manager-folder. Then go to My Documents and delete the Pro Cycling Manager folder. Last thing is Start -> Run and type in %AppData% . A folder will open. Find the Pro Cycling Manager folder and delete it. The game is now completely uninstalled.

There should be a backup of the save. It has the same name but has a ~ at the end. Just take this backup and put it back were it was (if you moved it to the desktop). Then remove the ~ and start the game.
There is no way to prevent crashes (unless you don't play the game) but you could make copies of your saves to prevent loss of a career. |
