First stages not loading

Hello,
I have problem with a few races in which the first stage does not start and causes the game to shut down. It happened sofar with the following: Tour of Taiyuan (t2_taiyuan_2019illince), Sri Lanka T-Cup (t2_srilanka_2018), Giro Ciclistico d'Italia U23 (t2u_girociclisto_stylus), and Course de la Paix Grand Prix Priessnitz spa (u23_priessnitz_2018illince). There is, I think, nothing wrong with the stages themselves because when I run them as 3rd or 4th stages, the game does not crash and I get a result for the races.
Any help to solve this problem most welcome. |

I think it might be a problem with one of the teams - like their is a team with no riders.
Are you playing career mode? Is it a Db you have edited?
Does it crash as soon as you hit 3D race or during the load screens? Does it crash if you do quick sim?

Thanks Ulrich. It is indeed an edited database and I am playing career mode. I think it is not a problem with teams with no riders (I check regularly that teams and riders are correct and enough). These are not races that my team in participating in. The game crashes a few seconds after the name of the race is visible on the screen. |

OK, maybe not that specific thing but I think it is a db error of some kind - make sure you don't have two riders with the same ID, I think that may have caused this issue for me in the past. It is not a stage file issue if it is happening in simulation mode.
I haven't played much career recently. But I think you can tell which teams are in a race before it starts. If you can, one option is to try running a race in single race mode with the same db (the base version and not the save game, assuming you are in season 1 of your game) and use custom teams to select the same list of teams as is in your career. If it crashes then you can start changing the selected teams and figure out which team is causing the crash.

Could it be caused by one of the teams selected for the race not having equipment assigned? |

Possibly. Although I would think they would just show up with no equipment. Have to try it and see what happens.

Just coming back to this issue. I think the problem is related to 2-3 riders in one particular team. They are never selected by the game to take part of a race and when I select them to a race then the game crashes. Also, when I create a new rider for the team and add him to a race, same problem occurs. Still any help how I may solve this issue is helpful. |

You checked those riders don't have duplicate IDs?
The fact that adding a new rider makes it crash it a little odd. You are testing that in single race mode?

Would there be any other Tables linked to a rider that should not have any conflicts? I was thinking about, for example, DYN_palmares? |
