I am playing Dankan's DB and do not want to start a new career. But I do want some new races. I was thinking of copying folders/files from say the Divinity DB and adding them to my current DB. Will this work or do you think my computer will explode?

You have to edit your save and I guess you have no clue how to do it. Maybe you could add new versions of existing races, but I do not know anything about that.
