Weird gaps in Time Trials

I noticed today some weird gaps in my TTs. Seems there are only 0 and 1sec differences between the riders, and then all of a sudden there is another 7 or 8sec gap. Here an example

1 José Iván Gutierrez Caisse D'Epargne 7'11
2 Thomas Dekker Rabobank + 1
3 Bobby Julich Team CSC - Saxo Bank s.t.
4 Bert Roesems Silence - Lotto + 8
5 Niki Terpstra Team Milram s.t.
6 Oscar Pereiro Caisse D'Epargne s.t.
7 Dimitri Champion Bouygues Telecom s.t.
8 Sebastian Lang Gerolsteiner s.t.
9 Filippo Pozzato Liquigas s.t.
10 Jason McCartney Team CSC - Saxo Bank s.t.

This happens with all databases I'm using so can't be db related, I'm absolutely clueless about this weird gaps Sad

I find things like that happen when you use the x8 speed of playing the stage.

Indeed, I was playing in x8 as I was testing a homemade db. I'd say this is quite weird, it will take ages to do a TT with proper results thanks to cyanide Frown

I just play time trials on x4, it doesnt seem to have such a drastic effect on the result.

Also the gene_f_timegap for some time trials might be wrong, even in the original databse. It has been set to 7 instead of 0.

Yes, you should have a look in the DB. STA_stage has a column which decides the time gaps. In time trials, it needs to be set to 0.
