Issue with assigning trainers to Development Squad

Hi all

I noticed that when in career mode, you can't assign any trainers to the developement team..

even though i have two spare trainiers to use, it doesnt let me select any as they dont appear in the drop down or option to assign like with the main squad?

Is there a fix for this?
