Olympics?

I saw while editing a database file there is mention of a maximum number of teams/riders for the Olympics.

However I've played a few games through several seasons and am yet to see an Olympic race of any kind.

Is there actually an Olympic race in the game in career or pro cyclist mode? And if so, it happens only in the Olympic years then?
