Just 8 teams entered this race - and 7 of them are represented in the breakaway

Tizza, Medici, Vanoverschelde, Bontenackels, Martinez Trinidad, Dowsett and Vitor

Molteni missed out on the break and although leading the peleton, they dont do much chasing

The break are definately going to win - so it looks good for Martinez Trinidad when he moves into a solo lead

The rest of the break also started to split up, with Dowsett leading the chase of Martinez T.

The leading gc riders did eventually do something. Hagen and Lobato got a gap over Roche and Bertagnolli who got a gap on the rest

Hagen comfortably took 8th, and considering that Vanoverschelde was the worst finisher (7th) fromn the breakaway - why didnt B&O chase?
