It has taken a long while for me to open a thread this season, but the time has come.
And it immediately started with a lie. Whereas the title clearly reads 'opportunity' of a lifetime, it should actually be renamed to 'opportunities' of a lifetime. I have not one, but multiple amazing things on offer today. Keep in mind that my transfers are close to being done and in theory I don't need to do anything anymore, so yeah, one could say I am doing this purely because I would like to be a Good Samaritan.

Lucaaaaa... Sterbiniiiiiiii!
Our favourite Italian time trialist is for sale, and boy what a rider he is. He is as good as min wage (55k, what a joke in this market) with his solid 78 TT, and even still eligible to be trained as he is so young. That means you could have an 80 time trialist at a salary of 55k!
He is a constant overperformer, but really constant. First race in PTHC last season? Fourth in Portugal. Coming back for a TT heavy race in Deutschland against the strongest of the strongest PCT competition? Fourth, with the guys above him being Zmorka and Würtz (82 TT both). Not Manninen, not Zmorka and not Spilak, but the incredible points per wage from this man delivered Los Pollos Hermanos promotion to PT.
Why is he allowed to leave after all? Well, he doesn't fit the regional focus perfectly, which is the main reason to be honest. And he could be yours for a very fair fee. Once again I'd like to remind you we are possibly looking at this year's PCT best pure time trialist or one of PT's most constant overperformers. Who is going to beat him in PCT? Nobody, indeed.
Last but not least, his name. 'Ster' means star in Dutch, and he will be exactly that for your team. Min wage, could be 80 TT. What a star. Promotion material in PCT, easily fighting off relegation in PT or the missing link to win the PT title. Second part of his name? 'Bini'. And yes, we all know Bini. Look what a certain team has given for the other Bini this year, almost one million. Bini means star in Eritrean as well apparently, and clearly that can't be a coincidence.
A fair price for Sterbini would be a fee of around one million, but if you ask nicely that price might drop heavily.

Wow! No, that's not me crying at the though of Sterbini leaving... It's just an allergy...
But the show must go on. We have more superdeals for you. Some teams are starting to notice their wage cap is a bit lower than their mind thought when bidding 50k yet again on a regional rider or nice talent. There might even be some people bidding 55k instead of 50k on a rider because of a typo? It could all happen just like that.
Los Pollos Hermanos offers you a solution. For a decent and very reasonable fee, we will loan in your riders for a year while paying their entire wage! 50k rider you need to ditch? Here we are. 450k rider you need to ditch? We'll make it work, because we are here for you.
We can level up riders, we can make sure they are fluent in Spanish or we can put in a loan clause to only have them race on Mondays. Because at Los Pollos Hermanos, the customer is always King.
Update: Different inquiries followed by offers have come in for Sterbini. Possible deal of more or less 450k for him, if somebody would offer just a little bit more I'd be inclined to put up a thread quickly. Total domination in CT or PCT, big overperformer in PT. Now or never!
