Replays - No Riders Showing

Forgive me if this has already been solved but having looked I've only found a few threads raised along the same line with no response to any of them.
Firstly the game works absolutely fine during races and when showing replays after races. However, once I've saved a replay and try to view it afterwards more often than not (though sometimes it works :/) the riders don't display at all, other than the circular disc at their base.
Apart from the fact that this means you can't see any positions, other than your team and one selected rider, it also freaks me out as it looks like some sort of afterlife cycling procession.
Any help greatly appreciated, thanks.
Tech Specs are:
Windows Vista Home Premium 32 Bit
Intel Core 2 Duo (something or other but probably not important)
Asus P5K Motherboard
4 GB Ram
Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS (this seems to be the common element - drivers fully updated though) |

I've seen this problem being mentioned 1-2 times before, but I never saw any solution to it. I also had a quick look in the technical part of the official forum (both English and French), but no luck. I guess it's a random bug which you can't really solve in any way. |

Thanks for the swift response, I looked on the official boards too with no luck 
Think it's something specific to the 8800 GTS for some reason. Will still live in hope of a solution as it takes away from some of the atmosphere of reliving your greatest triumphs  |

I have a theory that it is a result of saving the replay too quickly, but I expect this isn't true. Halvor submitted a screenshot of this bug in the funny screenshots section a while ago. |
