unzipping issue

I've recently upgraded my laptop and been ble to puchase the game and downloaded the latest patch. Ive also downloaded the Plus package db however when i try to unzip it to my PCM folder it starts to unzip but then stops and says that Winzip cannot unzip this file.

Anyone have any ideas on what the error mite be or another program to use instead of winzip

Is your PCM folder "Read Only"?

Right click on it and check properties. If it's read only, unclick and try again.

Failing that, you could always do it manually. Unzip to desktop, then copy then drag the files into PCM.

Go out and download Win Rar. It's free like Winzip, and can deal with both .rar files and .zip files. Might be that you're trying to open and extract a .rar file.

No PCM folder wasn't read only.

Found the problem though and it was just me being stupid, i forgot windows puts a block on the plus package to guard it from any threats after i'd downloaded it, unblocked it and its all unzipped now.

Thread can be deleted by mods

i turned off the read only and it still doesn't work
