Let's start by providing some additional information about the two riders we're most eager to sell in the next few days:

Nairo Quintana

Nairo will very, very likely be sold - or we'd need to offload all other riders earning more than the minimum wage.
Nairo was 21st in PCT last year, and this time around is on a much lower wage (480k vs. 600k). He won Tour of Japan (C1), finished 3rd in Int. Osterreich Rundfahrt (HC) and got some more Top 10s in stage races and classics.
What we clearly found out last year is that he does really well in mountain time trials. He's a great diesel climber and loves long, steady climbs. We believe that with some better planning and stronger support, he'd be a great leader in PCT! And although he's already 32y.o., his great potential will ensure that he'll stay useful for at least two more seasons.

If you want to get him, you'd better get out your wallet - we prefer pure cash for Nairo. Initial price tag: 1.2M (we paid more for him; the price might however get lower if no offers come in). If we are to accept a swap for him, we'd have to get a (younger) CT leader in return.

Hermann Pernsteiner

Hermann is likely one of the best hilly domestiques you can get for that wage. He did an amazing job last time we were in CT, scoring lots of points while mainly working as a helper! Taking 2nd place in Austria's NC both in 2020 and 2021 - once on a mountainous, once on a hilly course - displays his great versatility.
So why do we actually want to sell him? He's 32 as well, and with Mauro Schmid, we have the future for the hills already in our roster. So we believe Hermann can be more useful in another team - we think there are plenty of new CT teams who would clearly benefit from having him on board!

As for Nairo, we'd prefer getting pure cash for the Austrian. We think that 500k would be a good price for a rider of his quality and wage (again, we paid more, and he had a higher wage back then). We'd definitely also consider swap deals, preferrably for a talent or a good Under-30 CT-level scorer. Send us your offer, and we'll surely talk about it!

Loan-outs

We obviously want to get some loan deals set up as well for Stefan Bissegger and Alexys Brunel; we would prefer not to pay any of their wage, and we think it's still a good deal for a PT team to have very solid TTT members for 50k of wage. Both aren't afraid of some mountains, either, and so could be good candidate for your GT lineups, too!

Stay tuned for any updates - and until then we'll hopefully have lots of fruitful talks!

Looking for...

If we sell riders, we obviously also want to get some. We're especially looking for a young sprinter who could be a long-term solution on that position in both CT and PCT - if you can propose us a fair deal, hit us up!

We'll also be looking for Time Triallists or - if we can get a good CT-level leader - even a Cobbler.

And last but not least, we're also looking to take on some 1 -> 3 loan deals - again, preferrably paying no or just part of the riders' wages. Just hit us up!

Looking forward to get some good deal propositions - pick up your phone and call us!

Not much love for Nairo Quintana - but we're sure we'll eventually get a good deal for him!

Also, no interest at all in Pernsteiner, who's a well-proven CT level scorer - so we're rather surprised! Please provide our Austrian with a great home for his final maxed season - he sure deserves it!

But what's really new currently:

Looking for offers for Fausto Masnada or Gianni Moscon!

We have a potential deal that would require us to sell one of our two great Italian team leaders. So if you're after one of them, send us your tentative offers - there's no guarantee yet that a deal will indeed happen, but if it does, better get in the game as early as possible!

Transfer Update #2

Most importantly, Stefan Bissegger and Alexys Brunel have found a PT home if nothing completely extraordinary happens, as they're part of a "complicated package deal" (you might have seen that expression somewhere else, inedeed ^^).

With some loan deals that are in the pipeline, we're no longer looking to actively sell our Italians Moscon and Masnada; however, if you come up with a great deal especially for Gianni Moscon, we might still accept it.

Furthermore, we're still looking to get some good offers for Nairo Quintana; we've got some tentative offers, but nothing entirely satisfying yet. We're not in a hurry of selling yet, but make sure you get your offer in until it's too late! We'd now especially consider swap deals for good TTers along with enough cash to realize our further plans. Even strong young sprinters could do the job, as we don't have any of that species yet.

For Hermann Pernsteiner, there's still no interest. As for Nairo, we'd consider swaps for TTers or sprinters - depending on the quality, we could obviously include a fee in the deal.

Hit us up, a lot is still possible!

Transfer Update #3

Nairo Quintana is on the move! We have received an offer of 1.2M pure cash, which will be accepted as stated pre-transfers.

According to the rules, we will clearly accept overbids; before the deal thread is up, we'll accept overbids of at least 100k, or the same amount as before but with a rider included that we consider useful (TTer or Sprinter).

As soon as the deal thread is up, the minimum overbid we'll accept would be 200k, or with a useful rider included (same as above).

It's obviously possible as well to come up with a deal including a very valuable rider, in which case the straight cash could go down - but it would have to be an offer that's definitely better than the currently valid one.

Hermann Pernsteiner is still available; we have a possible deal for him which we're not sure to accept right now, so you can definitely still enter the race for him!

Transfer Update #4

While many deals are going well for us, our FA bids are unfortunately randomly jeopardized at times. What could really help us out would be a 1->3 loan deal without us paying any wage. We do have 75k of free cap space, so if you can (and want to) help us out, feel free to hit us up Smile

Otherwise, our 50k riders Gergely Szarka (sprinter talent) or Leonardo Basso (Italo-Swiss army knife) could leave in a swap for a good time triallist - we could probably even include a small fee!

Transfer Update #5

We are in the very comfortable situation of not needing to do any moves anymore.
Still, not doing anything until the end of transfers is boring. So we are looking for offers for two riders:

Leonardo Basso, 29 y.o., 4.MAX, € 50,000 wage
FLMOHITTSTRSRCCBSPACFGDHPR
73677272787373737169626972

Leo is our Italo-Swiss army knife - he is just useful everywhere! Be it as a solid part of your TTT lineup, in the hills, on cobbles - send him wherever you want to, and he'll deliver! Interested? Get your phone out!

Gergely Szarka, 24 y.o., 3.36, € 50,000 wage
FLMOHITTSTRSRCCBSPACFGDHPR
73626660717067607474646568

Gergely will max out as a solid 78/78 sprinter with great flat and very solid res stats - while certainly not having to worry about time limits in stage races. What are you waiting for?

We like both of them a lot, but if a good offer (at least 100k) comes in, we might still be selling them. Only one of them will go, however - except if we have really great offers for both. Hit us up!

Transfer Update #6

There seems to be quite some love for Leonardo Basso out there. Unfortunately, the deal we were hoping for to replace him now seems to be unlikely to happen. So we're rather inclined to keep him around.
However, we'll still listen to offers - they would need to be really decent, though. If you're in for a swap for a good TTer, you could very well get our Italo-Swiss army knife.

We can also tell you that we have a little bit (or even a bit more) of spare money that we could include in the deal. Ideally, we're looking for a rider having a max wage of 55k, but if it's more, we're open to find other solutions if your rider fits us really well.

Transfer Udate #7

There's still quite some movement on the market - but we haven't really found our lucky deal so far. We're still looking to fill one final roster spot - and for this, we clearly aren't averse to shaking up our roster a bit!
We could still (or again?) imagine selling our great hybrid rider Fausto Masnada - if we get back a great time trialist. Multi-rider deals are also possible; if we lose Masnada we'd obviously have to somehow get a good domestique for the hills to replace him. We also have a decent bit of cash available if that's needed to make the deal of our transfer season happen.
If you prefer, we can also talk about selling/swapping Gianni Moscon, but it's really unlikely that both Italian leaders will leave us this year!

Also, don't forget that we still have 75k of loan cap available - preferrably for a 1->3 loan where we pay only part or even none of the wage, but again you can submit the most complicated or crazy deals and we'll take a look at them!

Transfer Update #8

The dust has mostly settled, and our two Italians should be off the table if nothing really exceptional happens in the final days.

However, we'd love to make use of our remaining loan cap. We would like to loan out our Hungarian sprinter talent Gergely Szarka (74/74 spr/acc, 50k wage) for the 2022 season in order to potentially make room for another Free Agent. We need to offload at least 30k of his wage, so if you could take 30-50k of his wage with us paying the corresponding fee, that would be great! We would prefer to offload the entire wage, in order to have more freedom in case of FA overbids, but we're happy if we can find any working solution Smile
