The Canadians will enjoy a hilly nc today. Probably almost all of the participants think they might be able to win it, as nobody really has a strong team here.
It’s been a rather dull championship so far, with nobody trying anything for a long time. 7 km left and only the final uphill sector remaining as Boivin attacks!
Their amateur teammates seem to be done, so other favourites Houle, Cataford and De Vos are now at the head of the peloton. Will they cooperate, our has the little bird flown away?
The group of favourites under the flamme rouge now with sprinter Houle in the lead, whereas leader Boivin has 800 metres to go before crowning himself national champion!
But the Volcanica rider is out of energy! Houle on his way to win this one now!
And he convincingly wins the sprint ahead of Duchesne and De Vos!

Time Trial
Unless Cheyne has a great day and Cataford performs way worse than he usually does, this should be a fairly obvious outcome.
Cheyne does what he needs to do so far. Best time in 59’39”.
But he is no match for Cataford. The Podium Ambition riders wins another Canadian time trial championship going another 1’19” faster than the Minion.
