National Championships - RR
Antigua and Barbuda, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cuba, Mexico, Mongolia
The only mixed Cobbles race is one of the two smallest mixed NCs with just 14 pro riders on the startlist. We have one very close intra team battle for the Antiguan championship between Bridges and Gayral, and four competitions that have clear favorites: Siric for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Marcos for Cuba - although Perez is perhaps the closest to a real challenger we have in these four countries -, Ulloa for Mexico and Erdenesuren for Mongolia.

On the third of four cobble sectors, Bridges applied a lot of pressure to reduce the pack to just 12 riders. Now, Marcos attacks to force even more selections. Still at least two riders from every nation in here.
Nothing comes of that attack, so it’s up to the final cobbles stretch to decide most of these battles. It’s Gayral this time who pushes the pace and only Marcos, Bridges, Ulloa and Siric stick around.
After that big effort, Gayral falls behind, seemingly giving the title to teammate Bridges. Meanwhile, Erdenesuren has attacked from the group behind in an attempt to secure the Mongolian title.
No changes in the final kilometers, national championship titles go to Marcos, Ulloa, Bridges, Siric …
… and Erdenesuren. Congrats!

Similar to the road race, we have one close competition - De Luna v Prado for Mexico - and four races we expect to be pretty clear cut.
Gayral is the first of the “obvious” champions - a nice agreement to share the two titles between the teammates.
Perez gives Podium Ambition their third title of this competition, handily beating Marcos by two and a half minutes.
Crncevic takes home the Bosnian title, distancing Siric by almost five minutes.
Prado is the first of the two Mexican contenders to finish, an easy best time for the moment at 1h03’39.
De Luna can’t match that, he’s 18 seconds short and the title goes to Moser!
Eventhough Bolor-Erdene did decently well, he doesn’t stand a chance against Erdenebat, who takes the fifth and final title of this time trial.
