Surprisingly, no such attack happens by anyone. Hnik leads out Cerny, who must be feeling supremely confident. Vesely sits in fourth position.
As soon as the sprint starts, Vesely shoots to the front. No one can match his acceleration.
Cerny tries his best but can’t really close the gap. Paprstka is currently on course for third place, but it’s close.
No more surprises, as Vesely brings this one home easily, followed indeed by Cerny and Paprstka.

Moser will sweep the podium here easily, but we might be in for a close fight for the win between Kukrle and Turek.
Hirt seems to have a great day, he beats Danacik at both checkpoints on the way to a time of 1h05’12.
Danacik, the favorite for the bronze spot, does indeed fall short of that by 22 seconds.
The fight for the championship was then not at all close. Turek did not have a great day, only finishing 19 seconds faster than Hirt, and he almost got overtaken by Kukrle, who takes the title with ease.
