There is one big favorite today and that is Zepuntke.
Weber attacks on the 2nd of 4 cobble sections. Puma is the team with the numbers trying to control the race and they soon bring him back.
Weber again takes it upon himself to set a harder pace on the cobbles and reduces this group further.
Krieger now launches an attack before the final cobble section.
Zepuntke has been very passive, just following every move. The cobbles are now over and a group of Meiler, Degenkolb, Weber, Kanter and the former are in the running with 5 km left.
Interestingly Degenkolb the best sprinter here doesn't wait for the sprint he attacks now!
John Degenkolb had the right idea though. He wins the German NC with a solo effort ahead of Weber and Kanter.

German National Championships - Time Trial
Race Profile
The favourites for the time-trial are Fiedler, Sütterlin and Schädlich with some other capable riders here as well.
Weinstein sets the best early time.
1h09'06''
Wolf now takes over the lead 10'' faster than Weinstein.
1h08'56''
Politt then puts Puma back on top.
1h07'17''
Schädlich does his job and is 26'' faster. Now let's see if that's enough to upset the other two favourites.
1h06'51''
Not even close! Sütterlin takes the lead with ease.
1h06'14''
But not quite enough. Veteran Jacob Fiedler wins the German TT title by 3''!
