The favourites for the hilly course are Hagen, Eiking and Bystrom.
The peloton was quite feisty today and it didn't let any breakaway go away. But as we're now finish the penultimate climb we see that Hagen has forced the issue early. He has Bystrom and Dyrnes with him. Behind them trying to catch up are Eiking and Bugge.
Good teamwork from the 3 'escapees' means they have a small gap as they start the last climb. I'm not sure what Eiking told Bugge, but the latter has done most of the chasing to bring them as close as he could.
Hagen continues to lead with 400 m to go.
But the veteran runs out of steam! In a close contest Kristian Dyrnes beats Bystrom for the NC title. Eiking finishes 3rd.
