This is certainly a unique one: 9 riders, thus warranting an individual championship race, and yet, all from just a single team! Volcanica - Fox can be sure of both titles, but which rider(s) will take them?

Volcanica - Fox
This is just a very funny picture. All 9 Volcanica riders have left the amateur riders behind and ride together towards the finish. Mudarra attacks, will his own teammates chase him down?
He has a gap going into the final climb …
But apparently, he spent too much energy on that attack. To the surprise of everyone, it’s actually sprinter Marin who wins this! The pace was low enough for him to hang around, and then he just had more speed than everyone else.

Costa Rican Championships - TT
It should be Amador vs. Gonzalez Cortes here today - of course another Volcanica battle.
Gonzalez Cortes started early, overtaking not one, not two, but three of his teammates on his way to a time of 1h04’20.
Arias Villanueva is the third best rider today, securing a nice bronze medal for himself.
But the best was yet to come: Amador had a great day and wins by almost 50 seconds!
