If it comes to a sprint, there’s clearly only one favourite: Bennett. Is Glanbia able to control the race?
Although Glanbia has been controlling all day, it is now McKenna who is the only one with a sprint train as there are 3 km to the finish line! Favourite Bennett and the other pros are in his wheel!
The Moser-Sygic rider gets launched under the flamme rouge, but Bennett immediately bursts past him! Is he able to hold this until the finish line?! Others joining the sprint are Corkery, English and Lavery!
Nice gap for Bennett with 300 metres to go! Seems like he has this one in the bag!
Yes indeed! Possibly the easiest win of his career! Silver and Bronze are for English and Corkery!

Irish National Championship - Time Trial
Mullen the clear favourite here, with Dunbar and Downey as underdogs. The Indosat rider has recently beaten Zmorka though, so let’s not underestimate him.
Decent time from Richardson, 1h04’30” at the finish line!
Not the legs Dunbar had hoped for. He’s even slower than Richardson and will probably not end on the podium.
Downey does a bit better, but is also four seconds slower than teammate Richardson! Only top favourite Mullen to come in!
Complete dominance by the Polar time trialist. He prolongs his title, finishing 1’25” faster than the second best time today!
