Races under break or not?

Is it important for your riders freshness, that you not do racing under the red zone break?

If I'm not mistaken, race days are counted the same way as high intensity training days, regarding fatigue etc. So, if you schedule racing during the break, they will not get the boost in freshness.

Do you also have breaks zone before an objectives or just the week after
