Hi, I hope this is the right place to post this question.
I've played through two seasons in career mode now. In the first year, I scouted a rider with full potential (the potential bar was at the maximum). He was 16 years old. When I had the 'junior draft', neither he or the other 16 year old riders showed up in the draft. Only a couple of the 17-year old showed up, too. I guess this is because you can only be drafted when you are at least turning 18 the given year.
I though nothing special of it, and guessed the full potential kid would show up next year when I scouted the same area (Denmark). He did not... I used the excel-editor and tried to find the rider, but he was nowhere to be seen. I could not find him anywhere, either in the game or in the database.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is this perhaps a bug, or are there simply no point of scouting any other juniors than the 18-year old riders, since the other disappear?
I haven't progressed far enough in the game to finish a season yet but it sounds very like an issue I've noticed in previous versions. I had a habit of checking new regens in October, shortlisting any that looked good then in Jan of the next season seeing how they had progressed. There were almost always 1 or 2 gone. The game definitely removed them. Whether it's a bug or realism (not all young riders make it?) I don't know.
