Welcome to the 5th edition of the Course de Solidarnosc. It's the C2HC stage race designed exclusively for sprinters. There are 4 largely flat stages with the F1 bonus seconds rule that awards those to the top 10 finishers. So it's the rider that wins the most stages that wins necessarily, but the rider that has the most consistent results over the 4 stages.
With that said let's look at some of the favourites:
Sprinter | FL | RS | SP | AC | Lead out | FL | RS | SP | AC | Jakobsen | 74 | 73 | 80 | 80 | Ovsyannikov | 72 | 72 | 77 | 76 | Boivin | 74 | 70 | 79 | 80 | Villalobos | 71 | 69 | 66 | 75 | Wippert | 70 | 70 | 78 | 82 | Edmondson | 70 | 72 | 70 | 76 | Selig | 71 | 68 | 79 | 81 | McEvoy | 70 | 70 | 75 | 79 | Keough | 73 | 73 | 79 | 79 | Tivani | 70 | 78 | 77 | 78 | Krieger | 71 | 74 | 79 | 79 | Liepins | 73 | 68 | 78 | 79 | Appollonio | 74 | 66 | 81 | 78 | Finkler | 66 | 67 | 65 | 67 | Nelson | 71 | 63 | 80 | 80 | Meyer | 71 | 63 | 79 | 74 | Bouhanni | 74 | 69 | 80 | 77 | Sbaragli | 76 | 70 | 77 | 78 | Prasad | 74 | 74 | 77 | 79 | Favilli | 71 | 67 | 76 | 74 | Vingerling | 71 | 66 | 79 | 79 | Thwaites | 73 | 70 | 78 | 76 | Cimolai | 74 | 68 | 77 | 77 | Dahlberg | 68 | 63 | 73 | 70 |
Jakobsen is best sprinter on paper, hopefully for his sake the lead out with Ovsyannikov works for once. Boivin has done well with or without and is generally quite consistent. BNZ seem to have abundance of riches since they have a top CT puncheur here as Wippert's lead out. Selig is a bit of a hit or miss sprinter with his low RS stat, but it seems he's been hitting more than missing this season. Keough and Krieger are similar sprinters with similar lead outs. Hopefully for them they don't get to use them. Appollonio will try to surf the wheels. Nelson is super fast if he makes it to the sprint in good condition. Bouhanni has been able to grab good stage wins this year and he'll hope for at least one more.

Thank you for the preview red!
Really hoping that we can win this as Jakobsen is definitely capable of doing so and we has the support too. We have a Top 5 Goal here which should be achievable so hopefully we can come away with that at the very least!
Good luck all

This should be a fun race to watch. I'm hoping for a top-10 with Krieger here.

Here's hoping Nelson finds that sweet spot of sprinting but not being deemed eligible for a lead-out!
He could have a good result if he can find that spot
Thanks for the preview, good luck all

Last goal race for us, just a top 10 so should be doable but who knows how. Hopefully Langkawi Luke is still in the building.

Not the worst start from Jakobsen with 4th but it would be nice to see my team get involved with lead-out duties.
Thanks for the report red and a very close sprint indeed!

Obviously the goal is to be sitting about 6th going into the last stage and then hit a home run on that one. Decent start, good positioning from Keough.

Well one stage for Nelson with a lead out and one without ...more or less sane result ! He's trying though and if he gets a good result one day it will hopefully translate into a decent GC position too.
He's been pretty good all season and I think he deserves a stage !

Not pretty that from my team or Jakobsen. Really need him to get it together and to deliver in both of the final stages if I have any hope of a Top 5.

Keough too high in the GC and sprints late. Pretty pleased to pick up 10th and a small time bonus (I think). The whole GC-bug thing does tend to keep things even.

Great work by Hjemsaeter so far, picking up those important bonus seconds.
Just hold on to the peloton now and you may snatch some very pleasant points for us |

Solid stuff from Nelson, one more high finish could net a decent GC position

Great to see such a strong performance from Jakobsen despite our lead-out getting a bit messy.
Could be a stage too early but rather be winning stages than not!
Let's see if he can break the curse, get us another great performance on the final stage, and come away with either the win or a Top 3

Two third places out of three sprints isn't bad but would be nice to have a few extra seconds had he beaten Krieger, as he will lose ground on the last stage. Hopefully his position is good enough to hold on to an overall top ten.
