This is a 2 legged competition. The first leg was raced without TV coverage. The results from that are in the spoiler below. Würtz absolutely smashed the first leg and has 29'' advantage over Yatsevich and 55'' over Phinney.
We will cover the top 20 riders in the 2nd leg.

Goldstein makes it to the finish in 5th place. He loses over a minute to current 2nd leg leader Cattaneo.
1h02'15''
A similar time for De Bod, both of these two riders should lose some places today.
1h02'10''
Navardauskas is even worse as he's over 2 minutes slower.
1h03'21''
Taaramäe does better for Evonik. He posts the 3rd best time here, but will still lose his place to Cattaneo who is moving up the ranking.
1h01'32''
Leung is 1'35'' slower, he will lose many places also.
1h02'41''
The other King Power rider Mano doesn't do much better.
1h02'20''
Turek had a very good first leg, but he lost almost 2 minutes today.
1h02'54''
The gaps between riders 11-20 were small in the first leg and Predatsch is another who loses much time today.
1h02'41''
Atkins loses 1'15''. So most riders are losing over a minute to Cattaneo here.
1h02'21''
Same story with Balloni.
1h02'37''
Vorobev was 10th in leg 1, but he suffers also. 1'35'' slower than Cattaneo who looks like he had a great day.
1h02'41''
Hepburn one of the better rides here compared to others. Just under 1 minute slower.
1h01'57''
Vlatos does a solid ride, 3rd best here and he'll hope he can climb a few places with this effort.
1h01'25''
We can't say the same about Sergent, 1'40'' is a big loss of time.
1h02'46''
Dal Col was one of the surprises, being 6th in the first leg. He lost some time today which was expected.
1h02'27''
Paillot was the first rider under 1 minute yesterday and he's just under 1 minute here, 6th best time.
1h01'52''
Sütterlin was one of the dark horses for this race, but he won't happy with his 2nd leg.
1h02'25''
Now we go back to see the top 3 riders. Phinney set the best time on the 1st time check.
15'17''
Yatsevich 17'' slower than Phinney. So that's more than half of his advantage gone.
15'34''
So did leader Würtz do? He's doing great! Ahead of Phinney by 3''.
15'14''
Live now on the 2nd check and Phinney sets the best time here.
44'55''
Yatsevich is struggling big time. He's a minute down on Phinney, all about damage limitation now for the Russian.
45'56''
But Würtz seems to be riding to victory! Best time on the 2nd check!
44'50''
Phinney on the finish now. He beats Cattaneo by 24''.
1h00'40''
Yatsevich loses 1'30'' to Phinney only the 11th time today.
1h02'10''
Würtz keeps his tempo until the end. He's the fastest today as well. Deserved win by the Dane!
1h00'35''
Mads Würtz is the clear winner of the 2021 edition of Chrono des Herbiers. In the end it's a full minute ahead of Taylor Phinney and over 2 minutes ahead of Yatsevich who did just enough to preserve his podium place. Paillot and Vlatos had two solid rides to place 4th and 5th, while Cattaneo moved from 30th in the 1st leg all the way to 7th overall!
