It's a short TT or a long prologue, depending on how you look at it, to start things off for the riders in Poland.
As mentioned in the preview, there are some clear favourites.
Pszczolarski sets the early best time of 9'22.
Kuboki is the first man to beat the Pole with a time of 9'19.
Uran sets the new best time of 9'11. A solid time to support his GC hopes.
Jallays with a surprisingly strong effort as he is 3 seconds faster than Uran.
Kittel is one of the favourites and he shows it with a 9'03 which is the new best time.
Rekita strong for provisional 4th.
Kwiatkowski could really gain time on his GC rivals and he is only 2 seconds off Kittel!
But following him is Oliviera who blows Kittel away and goes 7 seconds faster! He's the first under the 9 minute mark.
Rajapakshage comes closest to the Portuguese, ahead even of Kittel. It's 9'01 for the Sri Lankan.
The riders getting faster and faster as Kaczmarek goes under the 9min mark!
However, Gonzales Salas is the opposite and is 11 seconds behind our current leader in provisional 7th. Disappointing from the much fancied Spaniard.
Hansen also disappointing as he comes in with the same time as Salas.
The Cameras missed it but Pidcock pulls out the prologue of his life and takes provisional 2nd!!
IT GETS EVEN CRAZIER. Joeaar comes fastest across the line, 2 seconds on Oliviera. Could we be about to see a huge underdog win?!?
Golovash also with a massive result as he goes into provisional 2nd! Same time as Oliviera.
Henttala comes through provisional 6th, +7.
Zamri is the next to disturb the Top 10 as he comes through 3 seconds down in provisional 4th.
His team mate disappoints big time as it's only provisional 10th for Brandle.
Faglum only good enough for provisional 9th which does set him up well for a GC push.
And it's possibly the biggest shock we will ever see but Joeaar has taken a very uncommon stage win here for Eddie Stobart who are a fan favourite team. It was a bit of a day of the underdogs as Golovash and Oliviera rounded out the podium but the biggest surprise was Pidcock in 5th!
The other side of the coin was Kittel (10th), Brandle (11th) and Gonzales Salas (14th) all pretty disappointing today.
