Aaaaaaaaaaahrrrrr. Me laddy's.
Welcome to Crommy's Treausre Hunt.
Sorry about the pirate voice, he'll crop up from time to time.
I've decided to do a weekly treasure hunt for as long as possible, and each week points will be awarded for the first person to solve the three clues.
Once you solve each clue, you'll find a message, word, number or just get an answer, and then you need to PM this to get the next clue.
Sounds simple. Well, it isn't.
You can of course discuss the clues here, and if you're feeling generous, give out some answers, but remember, the first to PM me the final answer to the third clue will win.
A points system and the first hunt will be posted later. A new hunt will be posted every Friday.
What the treasure is, I haven't got a clue, but I'll find something. It would be cash, but unfortunately, the pirate took it off me when I showed it to him: "I'll wager that purse has never been used as a rowing-boat. I'll wager it's never had sixteen
shipwrecked mariners tossing in it"

The first hunt begins.
We first off start with a riddle. PM me the answer, if you're right, you'll get the next clue, if not, you can try again, and you'll be given a hint.
So, here is the riddle:
If it takes two boys two minutes to eat two cakes, how long does it take 8 and a half boys to eat 8 and a half cakes?
Hint: it’s not as easy as it looks
Happy hunting

Alex153 is our first one to get the second clue right!!!
Here's the hint for everyone who's already got the first one:
Smoothie and special have nothing to do with it. There is a word in the clue which doesn't suggest this is in a topic. Look in a different section

Ok, here are the answers
The first riddle:
If it takes two boys two minutes to eat two cakes, how long does it take 8 and a half boys to eat 8 and a half cakes?
Hint: it’s not as easy as it looks
A: Many answered 2 minutes, but the actual answer is that it's impossible - you can't have half a boy
The second clue went as follows
A clue is hidden on this site.
Hint: Its funny how I can comment on Smoothie being special now it’s 2007
A: The key words have been highlighted. Look in the comments under the funny screenshots 2007, and you find the answer here https://www.pcmdaily.com/photogallery....oto_id=144, which is 90
Then, we come to the ridiculously hard part, where the clue is:
The answer lies withIn
Reading it phonetically, as the hint stated, we get the answer lies with in. Click on the web links, and we find a recent new addition, that's right, it's to a link called In (here https://www.pcmdaily.com/weblinks.php?...owstart=15. Click on this, and you get diverted to this page https://www.freewebs.com/inpcmdaily/, which gives you the final answer, which is (surprise surprise) Cavendish.
Almost impossible this week, I'll make it easier next week, although only slightly
Well done to all those who played

You mean this afternoon - since the bandwith has been overloaded. (or what should you call it?
I hope it will be before 16:00 norwegian time or 3 p.m. in England. |

Welcome to round two of Crommy's Treasure Hunt, let's hope you find it easier this time.
We start off with a riddle again, and this is one I solved when I was 10, so remember, PM me your answer, and no hints apart from the one below this time, it took me 30 minutes when I was 10 to solve this, and I've made the riddle easier, and the hint will be very helpful.
Here we go:
There were 12 apples in a basket,
and 12 people who lined up beside it.
They walked past and Each took one.
There were 11 apples,
How can this be?
Hint: All the grammar here is deliberate
