First of all, I'd like to apologise to all the managers and to SN. You'll see why in a minute.
The only stage that finishes in a mountain top. Will we see Vicioso dominate again?
The break of the day: Machado (Benfica), Akgul (LA/MSS B ), Agudelo (Zenmind) and the same Molteni that was in the BOTD in another stage.
Machado was the best placed rider overall and soon left his breakaway companions.
With 20km and with Tiago Machado still holding a 5min lead, all the favourites jumped off the peloton. Vicioso was just a little bit stronger than the rest.
Everything remained pretty much the same until Lobato and Moreno decided to attack and try to catch Vicioso. Gutierrez tried to follow but came out short.
And this is where I drop the ball... My computer crashed just as I was taking the screenshots, meaning I don't have the SS of the finishing line nor the results from the stage.
I know that the top10 of the stage were:
1 - Machado (Benfica)
2 - Vicioso (Gatorade)
3 - Moreno (Benfica)
4 - Lobato (Molteni)
5 - Gutierrez (Zenmind)
6 - Petrov (Benfica)
7 - Caucchioli (Zenmind)
8 - Keinath (B&O)
9 - Chacon (LA/MSS B)
10 - ?
