Playing this career at the moment, with a fairly young team and to make things interesting, I’m going for KOM classifications as I can’t go for GC yet, but my riders always seem to get beaten in mountain sprints by riders of the same level and stats. If I follow attacks, I can never overtake them or if I attack, usually with 1km or so from the top and use 99, most of the times, riders of similar stats (1 or 2 points more or less depending on stats) always just fly past me. Don’t really understand what I’m doing wrong.

Any ideas?

I think that happened to me. The problem was the acc of the other riders, was way better for them. I tried attacking early, but that was a coin flip
