A bit late getting our stall set-up, but finally getting on top of things!
Team management have entered the transfer season with an open mind as to how the 2021 line-up will come together, and hence there could be significant turnover or pretty much status quo in the roster depending upon how the chips fall.

Biggest news is that sprint-royalty in the form of John Degenkolb could be on the move for the right offer, but could equally well be leading the line for us in 2021. His departure would pretty much blow up any outline plans we have for the season, but that might be fun, right! . Would have to be an intriguing offer though for our management board to sign off on agreeing the departure of the 4th top scoring rider and dominant PT sprinter from last season. Cash only or serious swap offers would be considered.
Even before the market stall has been pitched we have received a favourable loan offer for Cepeda Hernandez that has been accepted in principle.
As the transfer window evolves, we will highlight different individual riders in detail that will probably be over-looked right now during the initial Free Agency market frenzy, but whose value will become apparent as FA wages spiral. A savvy team manager would beat the rush of the crowd to secure a fair-minded deal when considering the merits of riders like flat-beast with no flaws Feng, always reliable stage-race domestiques Koshevoy and Affonso, or versatile puncheur Zakarin. Giro stage winner from last season, the aptly named Winner Anacona is in his latter years, but is on a ridiculousy low wage for a rider still capable of leading on a CT team.
One item we would like to highlight as we officially open for business is that we are interested in discussing the potential for well-rounded developing TT-ist Diego Agustin Ferreyra to spend the season out on loan. We admit that his wage is still high reflecting a FA bid war late in the 2020 transfer frenzy. In light of this we are interested in discussing the potential for any combination of wage payment structure with the appropriate mandated MGUCI balance payment whether it be incoming, outgoing or some partial solution. This is a departure from the norm for our organisation where we would normally only consider 50/50 wage splits.
Transfer discussions welcome directly here at the market stall, or we can take them in private via PM here on Daily, or discussion via Skype messages for a more dynamic interaction.

Winner Anacona is now available on a first-come, first-served basis for the minimum MGUCI regulated fee (86K).

After securing 298 PT ranking points in the 2020 season (including a GT stage victory), Winner was described by anonymous soures as being incensed upon being notified that his race programme was likely going to be heavily curtailed by the need to use 'his' RD's on younger developing riders. Hence he has lodged a strongly worded transfer request.
Please save Winner from having to do that embarassing 'I'm transitioning to a mixed road / gravel-based racing programme' charade that seems to have become all the vogue of late .
Anacona quickly found a new home, so that was a good outcome for both parties before relations became further soured between rider and team management!

Adrien Petit was deployed very successfully as Degenkolb's final lead-out man last year, and less successfully (management error!) in too many unsuited super-cobbly races. He has expressed interest in potentially having more opportunity to ride for his own results which we have offered to consider by letting him find pastures new. Interesting factoid: Ignoring newly maxed riders, no rider with a higher OVR rating was on as low a wage in the post-renewal DB.

Yes he has had his first decline, but prior to that Chun Kai Feng was pretty much the closest thing the MG cycling world had to the mythical '70+' all stat rider. So along with his flat-beast credentials, he is still the perfect solution for managers balancing small squads when it comes to race planning. For reference, his terrain versatility brought in 199 PT ranking points last season.

Ilia Koshevoy continued to prove himself a very reliable PT-level stage race domestique in 2020. His high fighter and downhill stat make him perfect for mountain breakaways when let off the leash from pacing the bunch or fetching water bottles for his team leader. Proof of this is demonstrated by stage wins and KoM jerseys in the previous 2 seasons when competing at PCT level.
Looking for modest fees for each of these three riders. Would also be open to swap deals for stronger riders if you are trying to manage your wage cap. In such cases we would then be able to offer a small additional fee to seal the deal. Similar can be said in the right circumstances for Ilnur Zakarin and Piter Campero.
Petit and Campero are now both gone. We thank them for their sterling service and hope they enjoy their time with their new colleagues.
* Now edited: This means that we will now accept 60K for Chun Kai Feng, literally just above the MGUCI mandatory minimum. Rider details in the post above.
[Apologies, for the 1st few minutes there it said 55K offer, but forgot about MGUCI tax - not normally an issue in my world! Still a bargain at twice the price.]

Managed to find a different solution that means that Chun Kai Feng no longer needs to be sold. Hence will now only consider reasonable offers for his services.
A long shot, but worth putting out there: I now have the potential to take on a level 4 rider needing a PT loan. I would be able to pay all of the wage of a 50K rider (or would pay a 50K portion of the wage of a more expensive rider), but only if offered a fee of 360,000 (or more!).
Spoiler
I do not have fundamental bank balance issues, so thankfully no panic. Unsurprisingly the 360,000 fee is arrived at because it would take me up a notch in the training fund. Any less than this is of no significant use to me, and in that case I'd rather sign a full-time rider from FA instead.
