Is 2009 going to be awesome or what? I haven't always liked Armstrong but it's no doubt good for cycling that he makes a comeback in everyway. There will be a huge interest and publicity around all races that Lance will participate in.
Also we have Basso back in Liqiguas, and this is fair considering he has served a two year penalty. I also read on Radsportnews.com that Ullrich said maybe he should race also when Lance is coming back. This is most likely a joke and of course Jan will have probems with the Fuentes issue.
In addition we have many good transfers to next year with Sastre, Kohl, Hushovd, Schumacher and other top riders changing teams and getting a new fesh start.
And how cool will the Tour 09 be? We have the old guard Armstrong, Basso, Leipheimer, Contador(to an extent) and Sastre fighting against the new generation of cycling with Andy Schleck, Gesing, Kohl, Gerdemann and Kreuziger as the front runners. I think this will be great |

Basso won't be allowed at the Tour before 2011, judging by the code of ethics. other than that, I hope it's great.

Yeah, let's all go and tap all of our blood and fill it with EPO and then we'll reinject it somewhere in the 2009-season, just to remind ourselves of the great Basso-Ullrich-Armstrong-days! Yeah, maybe Pantani will return from the grave and Virenque will come crying back - ttlly AWESOME, dude! And Riis will make a pro-rider comeback, along with Chiapucci and we'll all be one big happy family!
Never.

You also missed out that Landis has signed with health net (will gain new sponsor next year) at the cost of many top riders for them. Doubt he'll get any top Europe rides, but still. Druggies are back in town! Whoo!

I do not mean its great that all the dopers are back or sumethin, but Armstrong has never been caught, and both Landis and Basso has served 2 years penaltys. Does the Pro Tour code of ethics still exist when the Pro tour is virtually dead Issoisso, just wondering? |

EEEEERRRP , that was just a joke , he said just after that sentence that he hasn´t thought about a comeback , where would Ullrich ride? CSC? Schlecks again not Captains to someone who said he has enough with cycling Not that a Ullrich comeback would be sh.. but thats 99% that he don´t comeback
I would like to see more riders like Jaksche or Sinkewitz who said something against doping but they can´t find a team... Yes how clean cycling is when people are against doping and would like to ride , can´t find a team... *roll*
Schumacher haven´t signed anywhere at the moment
2009 will be like every cycling year , positive and negative results , newcomer and oldies , good and bad riders , Giro , Tour , Vuelta , World Cup , the classics , the other stage races and the other classics... |

I think it'll be great. Only thing is, the doping authorities better get their act together. They better be prepared now. I want the sport legit. |

He was an "advisor" to rock racing and it was speculated that he would sign with them. However, it is now rumored he is signing with health net. |
