Given the title sponsor change, I figured it would be a good opportunity to shuffle the team a bit so I'll be looking at offers for the following riders:
Ian Boswell has received a very good offer which is set to become official tonight.
No concrete offers for the other three so far though so I will put up a short reminder of which of them are capable of doing.
First of all, neither of them is too old. While a lot of riders on the market are pretty old, with stats decreasing just around the corner, these riders are currently 28 which means that they still have 5 good seasons ahead of them before you have to worry about decline.
Danny Van Poppel is a proven stage winner even at Pro Tour level, having taken last year the biggest win for sprinters there is in the final stage of the Tour de France at Champs Elysees.
Steven Lammertink is on the of the World's strongest time - trialists and could become an even more important figure in that field as most of those around him will decline in the next season(s).
Jakub Kaczmarek is a very useful domestique that can be deployed on all types of terrains and could be even be a team leader at the CT level.
Deals have been agreed for both Ian Boswell and Steven Lammertink.
Danny Van Poppel and Jakub Kaczmarek are still up for grabes. Asking prices are 700k for Van Poppel and the minimum transfer fee of 100k for Kaczmarek.
Danny Van Poppel is no longer for sale unless a huge cash offer comes in at the last moment.
Yves Lampaert and Jakub Kaczmarek are still available for the minimum fee (70k for Lampaert, 100k for Kaczmarek). Kaczmarek could also be swapped for a 50k rider, but cash would be preferred.
