Why does rider freshness always recover to excellent?

It's kind of pointless to have in the game if big efforts from days before don't have any impact on the start gauges the next days... Is it everyone or a bug in my career?

Shitty stat design; the daily REC replenishment + STA values are always higher than the amount of available RES for a stage by some decent margin, so riders never actually tire in repeated efforts; only from training points

It's been that way in every game since I started playing.
REC doesn't really matter. Even with 70 you won't really get tired, even in a GT. You'll always recover to 100% after a rest day.

With latest patch, REC has more importance. You can go to very bad freshness with 65- REC riders while you can go with medium freshnnes with 75+ REC riders.
Therefore REC value has minimal impact for one week race but is important for 3 weeks race.
