hello, i'm now playing PCM for few months, really like the game btw, and never had any problems, if i had one i searched forums en found a solution, but now i have something that i can't explain and can't do anything about it!
i'm now riding my 5th season and my best rider is contador(playing with rabobank)
contador really did great things last years, won tour, vuelta, giro, several pro tour races and so on, never had problems with him but now at the start of my 5th season he is depressed, i don't know why? if i race with contador, for exaple a stage with 2 mountains in, at the start of the last mountain his yellow bar is empty! normally when i ride with him the yellow bar is never empty unless i attack! so now i can't do anything with contador, i just ride in paris-nice and he ended 20th position on 18 minutes from the leader! normally when he rides time trials he's always top 10; sometimes top 20 but now he even finishes for example at the 112 position and things like that, i really don't know what to do! contador is losing on mountains against riders who have 74 for climbing! i hope someone can help me because this is not normal!

If he won the Giro, Tour and Vuelta, it isn't strange that he is depressed. It's almost impossible to do it in the same year, because of the fatigue. As the fatigue rises, then the moral drops. |

Anyway, send him to a moral boost training camp and he'll become a happy camper again.
Reasons for his depression: riding with wrong rider status, bad result and other misc. reasons. |

I read it, and I understood why he was depressed. Just so he don't do the same mistake later. Anyway, you can change it in Hannes Converter. |

Are you putting him into races according to his program?
If he didn't want to ride in Switzerland, he'll be pissed even though he wins it.... |

Oh, really? That's cool. I used to hate having to mess about editing the prog's in previous versions....
I've only had a play around with continental teams in career mode so far in PCM_08, and most of those riders never had prog's anyway.
I've noticed favored races is still there - does that play any part in terms of gameplay (ie bonus to stats for race, etc) - or is it simply cosmetic? |

Favorised races give a bonus to the rider if he is participating but no moral problems |

It is the fatigue who makes the moral drop. |

I had never problems with the morale in relation to fatigue. How high can you go with the fatigue, before you loose morale. |

Full. I tried to win all the three Grand Tours with Contador at the same year. He won the Giro and the Tour, but in the Vuelta, when the fatigue was full, he started losing moral, and I needed to abandon him. If not, the moral would have dropped down to depressed. |
