This shouldn't be much of a contest on paper. Lutsyshyn is by far the best sprinter, and his closest competition is Golovash, his leadout man. Plus his team have the most numbers.

The sprint is launched, but Lutsyshyn is still tucked in. Instead it's Prevar charging on the left.
And he's charging to the line! Lutsyshyn is still sitting in the wheels, he hasn't even launched!
And Prevar wins! Certainly he wasn't the favorite on a flat course, but I doubt Popo4ever will be complaining about having him as a the national champion!
