Remove DB/races

Hello, I might've been a tad optimistic about what my PC could handle, when I downloaded a DB that contains a lot of races, which has made progress very slow. Is there any way to remove these races, so my PC only has to sim the "stock" races that are put into the game, without starting a new career+
