Izagirre the biggest favourite to take over Tenorio’s title, will he live up to his status?
Polar and Desigual have no trouble reeling the early break back in. 10 km to go as Landa attacks just before the top of the penultimate mountain!
But the same two teams catch him quickly. Landa and Minguez Ayala in the lead under the flamme rouge, as top favourite Izagirre is currently boxed in behind Madrazo and next to Tenorio!
Landa still in the lead with 400 meters to go as Errazkin in second close to overtaking him! Other not yet mentioned names still in a winning position are Lastra and Rodriguez!
But today is Errazkin’s day! Desigual might quit as a sponsor, the Spanish road title remains in hands of manager Mresuperstar!

Spanish Time Trial Championship
It’s looking good for a Desigual double here, as current Spanish time trial champion Gonzalez Salas overslept and thus misses the event.
Fraile with an early start and a good time: 1h04’12”.
Izagirre comes in third at 55”, two riders to go. Verona still in second as well, a full podium for Desigual?
Madrazo is a few milliseconds faster than the Polar rider and virtually takes bronze. The big favourite still to come in though. Tenorio was second at the second chrono, losing nine seconds to his teammate Fraile. Did he make up for it?
No! He only gained a second, which means Fraile is the 2020 Spanish time trial champion!
