National Road Championship of Belarus, Israel, Croatia and Slovakia
Sagan the favourite for the Slovakian title, whereas the Israeli favourite is Puma’s Sagiv, Durasek is normally the best Croatian puncheur and the Belarusian favourite is either Bazhkou or Koshevoy.
A Puma and Swisslion amateur rider formed the break of the day. They were reeled back in by the peloton with 10 km to go, thanks to the work of Moser, Gazelle, Xero and Lierse. No other attacks so far, as a group of 21 starts their final ascent of the day. Sagan in second position being led out by an amateur teammate, his Slovakian rivals Vysna and Kolar right next to him. Still all Belarusians and Croats here, as Sagiv is the only Israeli left in the leading group.
Sagan accelerates under the flamme rouge, too early? The three Croats still next to eachother, whereas for Belarus it’s Bazhkou versus Koshevoy.
No competition at all for Sagan, who starts celebrating early, as the favourite adds another Slovakian title to his palmares!
Two riders prolonging their national title now, as Frankovic in second and Bazhkou in third win the Croatian and Belarusian road championship! Sagiv does well to finish fifth and win the Israeli road title.

National Time Trial Championship of Belarus, Israel, Croatia and Slovakia
The first four names immediately the favourites for the win in their country. This would probably be the last win of Velits’ career. Let’s find out if he can take it.
Here he comes! With a time of 1h07’48” he is two minutes faster than any other Slovakian today. Well done, Peter!
Durasek failed to deliver in the road championship, but is six seconds faster than Potocki and claims the Croatian time trial championship!
Goldstein currently has the best time of all riders with 1h06’29”, claiming the Israeli time trial title!
Bazhkou is the last rider to come in today, and the second looking at his time. He wins the Belarusian time trial and is the only rider able to win a double today!
