This is a really interesting one, as there are no proper sprinters, but lots of hyprid riders with solid sprint and acceleration. Add the fact that only Europcar (3) and eBuddy (2) have more than one rider, and you have a wide open race. On paper, Wisniowski is the favorite with his elite flat and good acceleration stats, but really, anything can happen here.

If you’d bet on anything with this field, it’d be attacks in the final kilometers and that’s exactly what we get. Gradek accelerates, followed by Kwiatkowski, Marchewka, Warchol and Kasperkiewicz. A solid group!
They enter the last 2 kilometers with a decent gap over the amateur-led peloton. Kwiatkowski is the favorite in this situation if he times it right.
Gradek opens the sprint, Warchol and Kasperkiewicz immediately flank him.
Kwiatkowski waits a long time to leave Gradek’s wheel, maybe too long? Warchol has a decent lead!
Kwiatkowski makes up some ground but he’s running out of road …
Warchol celebrates …
… and almost gets Zabel’d, but it’s enough. Kwiatkowski went too late and blunders a great opportunity to take the Polish championship. Instead, that jersey goes to Bartosz Warchol, a surprise on this course but a worthy winner nonetheless.

Polish Championships - ITT
A lot of good time trialists on this list, Marchewka and Rekita are the favorites.
Wisniowski rides a good race and takes the best time, but it won’t be enough for a medal. According to intermediate times, three riders are going to fight for those, and they’re within a single second of each other at the 2nd time check!
The first of them is Kaczmarek. His time at the finish: 1h05’18. He added 8 seconds to his lead on Wisniowski from the second checkpoint, maybe an indication of a good final sector.
Then it’s Rekita. He held the best time at the intermediate check, but only by a single second. And … he adds another, taking the lead by just 2 seconds! One man left.
And that’s Marchewka. In the pouring rain, he gets through the final sector one second slower, which means he’s two seconds short of the title! Szymon Rekita is the Polish ITT Champion!
