Welcome to the Norwegian road championship. Kristoff is the favourite, Enger his biggest rival.
Grieg, Adastra, Gjensidige and cycleYorkshire work together to catch the break with 19 km left. There are some gaps between the first 24 riders. Kristoff well positioned, whereas Enger is following some others in an attempt to close the gap.
It all comes back together quickly, and Resell goes for a surprise attack with 3 km to go. Aasvold is paying attention and closes the gap for his leader Kristoff, who is being followed by Enger.
And we get to the sprint, with Kristoff taking the lead with 600 meters to go and Enger positioned ideally in his wheel! Trondsen on the right and Eiking on the left also want to win a medal!
But Trondsen goes even further than winning just a medal, as he wins the race! Great stuff by the Aker rider! Enger’s earlier chase sees him unable to overtake Kristoff, who knows he wasted a big chance of riding in the national colours next season!

Norwegian Time Trial Championship
There are at least five time trialists thinking about winning the national championship today. Aker could go for a double, whereas Grieg has three chances at gold.
Grieg’s advantage in numbers means they can immediately start with a big gun. Vassdal sets the aim time of 1h04’43”.
Wow. While Laengen is unable to beat his teammate, Galta comes over the line with the fastest time so far, 18” faster than Vassdal. What has the Aker - MOT rider eaten this morning?
Stenersen coming in now, and he sets the new best time! Only two riders left, which means the Polar rider will at least win the bronze medal.
Korsaeth is 43” faster than the Polar rider! Vangstad ends up more than half a minute behind the Grieg rider, which means Korsaeth is the Norwegian time trial champion!
