I just sent Edvald Boasson Hagen on a 10 days time-trial training camp, he had 78 in TT when the camp begun, and 81 afterwards, then i sent
him on another 10 days, and he came out with 84...making him the best time-trialist in the world in 20 days...does the gained skills fade or
does it stay 84 or increase in the future?
Extremely unrealistic...

which is why pretty much everyone thinks training camps are stupid, and equivalent to cheating

And the effects last way too long. If it was just some weeks you couldn't just send the rider on three 10 day camps and he will rule the world of cycling for 12 weeks. |

I only do once in a while if the season objectives are redicolusly difficult or for the tour where Contador is unbeatable. |

I really think training camps need changes:
1. AI should use them(even if just a little)
2. It should be like +1 on stats with 5(or 6-7) days.
3. Duration from the start of the camp a month.

It's kinda ridiculous. I play with Slipstream and send Dan Martin once in a while and because he has potential his stats fly up but despite my efforts to drastically improve him it doesn't work (for long).
It's something that needs to be improved, I agree with that. |
