Looking at the favorites, a trio stands out consisting of Quintana, Uran and Henao, but Beltran might make use of his strong acceleration to get in the fight for the win as well. Europcar have the strength in numbers, the only team with four riders present, probably going for Atapuma as their leader.

We have to wait until the final 5 kilometers for some action, then Atapuma takes the initiative. Martinez, Beltran and Pantano Gomez are closest.
Into the final 2,5 kilometers, we have a group of 13 at the front. Anacona, Quintana and Pantano Gomez are in the front row, Henao Montoya, Atapuma and Beltran right behind.
Beltran with a massive acceleration into the final kilometer! Quintana now leads the group ahead of Henao Montoya!
The final few hundred meters are the steepest and Beltran is back in the saddle. Henao Montoya leads the chase, Nairo Quintana doesn’t look fresh anymore, but Dayer Quintana has a decent pace, as do Uran and Higuita.
But they’re too late! Eduard Alexander Beltran is your new Colombian champion. Henao Montoya second, Nairo Quintana recovers and secures third place.

Colombian Championships - ITT
Uran is the big favorite, young gun Bernal probably the only guy who can stop him with a favorable daily form. Let’s see how it goes.
Martinez is the first guy with an outside shot at a medal here. He overtakes Jaramillo and even almost Henao, too, and finishes with a time of 1h06’47.
The top favorites are on the road and Uran already has 24 seconds on Bernal at the first checkpoint. It would take a miracle for the latter to still take this.
Quintana is the first man to beat Martinez at the line, the time should be good enough for a Top 3 spot - 1h05’39
After Restrepo slips between Quintana and Martinez to eventually finish fourth, Bernal comes in. A new best time by 45 seconds …
… but not even close to enough to keep Uran at bay, who beats him by more than a minute to defend his title.
