Preidler has had a terrible season and is now the top favourite in the NC’s. Interesting to see how that will turn out. A lot of riders at a similar level puncheur-wise.
The top favourite attacks on the penultimate hill with 11 km to go! Three riders able to follow Preidler: Konrad, Pernsteiner and Wohrer!
They get caught just before the final hill. Konrad leads the race with half a km to go!
Preidler can’t match his speed and loses ground, on the right side of the road we see Pernsteiner and Krizek trying to overtake him!
But the Gazelle rider manages to hold on! Pernsteiner wins silver and Preidler manages to win bronze in the end.
