Does anyone know if V3 has been released yet as I have heard it is no longer accurate since the latest patch. Also, does anyone know the password that is protecting the sheets as I would like to have a look at the raw numbers rather than the graphs. |

why shouldn't it be accurate. as far as I know V2 was released at the same time as the patch. I has some mail contact with eyolfur (creator of this thing) and he never mentioned that it shouldn't be used any longer.
If you need the passwort you should either ask him or use google, because there is surely a way to crack this, if even games will be cracked.
But I think you couldn't use it anyway because if you would have a minor knowledge of excel you would have found the raw numbers long ago. (They are accessible without password) |

I'm curious: what is that thing?

It is a tool to calculate the fitness and fatigue in regard of different training plans. You can also build and save training plans which are loadable in the game.
btw: why retired and not sour?

Does the term go &*%$ yourself mean anything to you. For your information I have a very good knowledge of excel and the raw data is still not accessible to me or anyone else who doesn't have the password. Maybe have a look at the thing properly before shooting your mouth off.
If anyone does have the password, or the information about how much fatigue and fitness you acquire at each training level I would be very greatful. |

With that kind of response, do you think that people are willing to help? |

so, exactly the same thing that's available in-game since the patch?

The difference is that the spreadsheet version will tell you what fitness level your rider will be at a point in time which is handy to know if you want a rider in peak condition for a certain race.
In regard to my response above, I don't appreciate people who talk down to others and felt that was what Lachi had done to me so I felt obliged to respond. I would do it again! |

The excel sheet shows much better when and where and how your fatigue and fitness levels will be, then the ingame planner |

And if you have some math knowlegde you could figure out the factors by yourself using the columns P or Q. (And don't tell me how good you are in maths, because I don't give a *$# about that either)

Does the excelsheet take fitness at day1 into account. From my experinece the in-game feature doesn't and assumes som standard value (perhaps 0). |

Neither the game nor this sheet take fitness at day 1 into account but it really does not matter because the fitness will just level up (or down) after the first few weeks. And the fatigue will be added anyway, no matter if the rider is fitter then the level he is training or not (at least I think it is like that) and if not, it wouldn't matter that much because in the first few weeks you can only train level 1 or 2 after all (and they don't give you fatigue, or only a tiny little bit). |

My experience is that it matters quite a bit. |

Fatigue is not linear to fitness, so if fitness is x higher for a rider, you can't just add y=c*x ammount to his fatigue.
I've had riders be at 100%+ fatigue, and have their max fitness reduced, even though the planner says they are somewhere around 70% |

I still don't understand. I look at the beginning of the year and at this moment all the riders have 0 fatigue. Their fitness might be as high as 60 or as low as 30 but on the first few weeks you can only train level 1 or 2. These levels would result in a training fitness of max. 60 but a training fitness of 60 won't give them fatigue.
Are we talking about the same thing? |

fitness is not max. 60 in the first few weeks, i've had a few riders with fitness 75 during the down under tour |
