Two flat stages allowed Manninen and Silvestre to topple the time-trialists and rise to the top of the standings. Today is another opportunity for the latter to put it a decisive effort in this race. Fiedler does make it two out of two TT wins in this race and is the leader going into the last stage. Zmorka improves to take 2nd today and jump to 2nd in the GC. Paillot is now 3rd in the GC, having finished fourth today. Silvestre is the highest placed sprinter going into the last stage, 12th and 46 seconds behind.
Fiedler moves back to the top of the Points classification. Bridges remains the KOM leader. Penko is the new leader of the U25s. Repsol retain their lead in the Teams classification.
